As a global subject matter expert on mobile Internet and digital media initiatives, Michael has been a featured speaker and considered a leading mobile media industry futurist. In addition to shaping the early market practices of the Open Mobile Alliance, he was a co-founder of the Wireless Advertising Industry Association (now operating as the Mobile Marketing Association) and  the WAP Forum's Developers Expert Group (now operating under the Open Mobile Alliance).
